Hey yall! Some of ya might remember from my March updates that I began my journey on a vegan diet. Well it is now August so I have officially been vegan for 5 months!!! I just wanted to share a few of my favorite vegan snacks for home, on the go, and even at Disney World. Let’s get started!

At home

Oreos – OK so so many people don’t believe me when I tell them oreos are vegan because “they have cream in them”, but it’s true. Oreos are an accidentally vegan snack, and when paired with almond milk, you’d forget you even changed your diet lol.

Ben & Jerry’s Non-dairy Ice Cream – If you have not tried Ben & Jerry’s dairy-free ice cream, you are truly missing out. I was a strong die-hard Halotop person, until my friend Gabby got me to try Ben & Jerry’s and, wow. I am never turning back. My favorites are the Caramel Almond Cluster and Coconut 7-Layer bar.

ANYTHING MORNINGSTAR – I truly believe that Morningstar makes the best (at home) vegan meat substitutes, until Beyond and Impossible make more of an appearance in local grocery stores. I love their BBQ Chick’n Nuggets and Vegan Meat Lovers burgers.

On the Go

Taco Bell’s Spicy Potato Taco – I can be really boring when it comes to TB. My menu item of choice is the spicy potato taco and I add black beans to it. I also DROWN it in hot sauce but that’s beyond the point.

Starbucks – Everyone loves Starbucks, and vegans are no exception. If I need a caffeine boost before I head to Disney World, I grab my reusable cold drink cup and head to the nearest Starbs. What do I order? A venti iced cappuccino with almond milk, 2 pumps of toffee nut syrup, and 3 pumps of vanilla syrup. Since it is a venti capp it has 3 shots of espresso which definitely curves my caffeine craving, but it also hits a sweet spot because the flavors mix to make a french vanilla vibe.

Disney World

As I started thinking about this section, I realized I could break this down into each park and would therefore be writing WAY more than necessary for this post. With that being said, stay tuned if you’re interested because I will be doing a separate post for my favorite vegan options at Disney World!

Thank you so much for reading! Are you vegan? Have you tried any of my favorites? Leave a comment down below and let me know! Don’t forget to check out my Youtube channel Life of Lizzi May. Thank you (:
